[Hot-Fix] to actually see
skullfossil.png
Skull Fossils.

1) Save this image as 641.png
Qns5mss.png

2) Paste the file in this PWO folder \Pokemon World Online\Skins\Default\Items
*Note: If you're using any custom skin, aim for the correct Items folder.

3) Done. Login the game.

How do we know that the skull fossil image is 641. I want to do this for other items as well.

Items in PWO are numbered in our database with a unique number for each, and the PWO client currently looks for an image with a matching number to decide which sprite to display in the inventory and Held Item views. Unfortunately, at this point in time, there's no way to look up what number is associated with what item (short of Staff members with appropriate access looking at the Item Table), so finding the correct item numbers for missing items right now is pretty much a case of trial-and-error - or asking a Staff member to check ;)

Just make a whole bunch of small PNGs with numbers in them. :)
Correct.

With the help of ChatGPT (and 0 javascript knowledge) i've created a .js script for execute an Action in Adobe Photoshop.

The function was to simple create 999 png images (32x32 pixels) with a small text inside each image which represents the number of each file.
Every creation should be auto-saved and named as it number in a pre-selected folder.

The whole process took only 10 minutes.

After that, you can copy/paste all the files into your Items folder, without replacing current existing ones.
Now in-game you can see exactly which .png you're missing (from Quest items and everything else), even creating your own version.

We could call that merely appearance appeal, but in some occasions when you're hunting, been able to actually check the visual representation of some items helps count and avoid releasing it by mistake. Think about players unaware of all the forum informations.

Hope that answer helps.
