As you may be aware, PWO has been for some time now having a number of issues with our internal email platform, which has resulted in various issues such as registration and account recovery emails not being sent out and, occasionally, the Playerdex as a whole bugging out.
Following a long period of investigation, our server host has determined part of the issue to be a misconfiguration with PWO's server. Our host is now working actively with us to resolve the issue, and we're hoping over the coming few days we can get these technical issues resolved, allowing our emails to finally function correctly. To perform this maintenance, however, the PWO Server may be required to go offline for a short while, which will make the game, website and Playerdex unavailable. Once we have confirmation as to if and when this will happen, we will notify you all via our Discord, with a further announcement when service is restored.
In the meantime, if anyone is attempting to register a new account but is not receiving our emails, we may have a solution. If you have recently made a registration request and have not received an email, please contact either myself or @luminance via our Discord with the email address you attempted to register with and evidence that you own this email address. We will then ask you to try to register again and will try to grab the registration link for your account directly, allowing you to bypass the email check and continue to complete the registration. Please wait for the person you contacted to respond before attempting another registration, and be prepared to use the link as soon as they give it to you, as registration requests only stay valid for an hour.
