Account recovery request

Hello,

I used to play PWO around 2009 and I would like to recover my account. Unfortunately, the Yahoo email associated with the account has been deleted, so I am unable to reset my password.

Is it possible to change the email address linked to my account or recover it in another way?

I can provide any additional information needed to verify ownership.

Welcome back good sir. I'm not staff and I may be wrong --- but IIRC some time around 2013 all accounts that hadn't been logged into in the past 2 years were deleted from the server.

Account recoveries without email access are also very rare, almost never, in PWO. Usually only when the player has extremely strong evidence and was known by other players who remember and can vouch for you. And it might take staff a while even in that best case scenario.

It may be better to just start over on this account? Unless you had a ton of great very rare stuff. It will be fun to do the storyline again, plus all the new content.

From what I remember, my account shouldn’t be deleted. I used to log in from time to time, and I believe I was still playing until around 2018. I can also still find my account listed on Playerdex / Player Central, so it seems like it still exists.

The main issue is that I no longer have access to the original Yahoo email, so I can’t reset the password.

I know recovery without email is difficult, but I’m hoping there might still be a chance if I can provide enough proof.
