“Where is Elite 4 in game?”
“PWO doesn’t have an Elite 4, you can just go between regions freely”

Rest in peace those two sentences.

As opposed to an event with a limited lifespan, this update will be adding in permanent content to the game with no expiry date. North of the reception gate between regions and Mt Silver lies Victory Road, the path through to Indigo City and the Elite 4. An early game addition for players seeking to prove they have what it takes to get to the next region, and something that can be leveraged into future content ;)

It was set out that before Sevii, came the Elite 4, with the project beginning around 2017/18. And thanks to the whole PWO team for making it finally be released, with our future attention now focused at the Sevii isles.

This update features newly composed music to run alongside the Elite 4 with updates to existing tracks, some new (old) tilesets for the future, and some new (old) game play mechanics inside Victory Road.

The content will be live later this weekend.

  • Fixed a bug where messages that include the version number would show only the version number, e.g. "1.98.2" instead of "Pokémon World Online v1.98.2". Most noticeable in the setup's title bar.
In addition:
  • There was an issue which affected some accounts and prevented some Pokemon from showing ingame. This has been fixed and the accounts affected are being updated.

I'll work out a solution but it may not be live for a day or two.

When does the evening start?
edit: and when is the afternoon? :O
We're counting day evolutions as between 06:00 and 16:59 and night as 17:00 and 05:59. This is based on the game time and should match up with the client.

How does that effect previously made decissions; like the evolution times of Umbreon and Espeon, as well as the night spawns?
